Scrapbook Rooms: Jennifer Pebbles

I’d like to introduce you to my decorating soul mate: Jennifer Pebbles! This woman can find and collects the coolest treasures to add to her home, and her scrapbook room is no exception. I asked her to share her room with us this month so you could be inspired.

The first thing Jennifer did before creating this fabulous space was to purge. I’m a firm believer in purging. (Plus neighbors, friends, and garage salers are always happy to relieve you of your extra goodies.) Then she did her homework and looked for room inspiration on the net. When she was ready, she put together an amazing space.

Here is a look at her lovely room:

Look at the cozy chair from IKEA, and that metal table (swoon), and the repurposed bedroom dresser!!

Here’s a different angle:

Do you see the orange accent color in the lumbar pillow and the little catch-all bowl holding the TV remote? Cool injection of color, right?

Here’s a great trick to enlarge a small space: use a mirror! Jennifer has one behind her metal desk to reflect light.

Jennifer is the one the inspired me to use a table for my creative space rather than the tiny, albeit cute, desk I had in my room before. Really let’s be honest! Don’t we all crave a little extra space to create? Brilliant use of space I say!

She also uses the space underneath the desk for boxes and containers of more goodies. Way to stretch the space!

And here is the cozy corner of her room:

More orange (and yellow) with that lovely chair. And if ever those locker basket drawers need a good home (besides Jennifer’s), I’m definitely going to volunteer. Jennifer also makes those darling “Hoop-de-do’s” embroidery frames. You can find them in her Esty shop here.

A space is yours when it speaks to your personality and you love it! I think this room speaks volumes about Jennifer.

She will be changing up the room shortly as she is expecting her first baby in a few months! Help me give her and her hubby and her darling dog a “CONGRATS!”

You can find more ideas from Jennifer Pebbles on her blog, which is found here.
