Corner Rounding Heaven

I am obsessed with rounding corners on my cards, but my little punch was starting to wear out and didn’t always cut clean. I wandered into my favorite local scrapbook store and meandered my way to the punch aisle. (I may or may not have picked up 50 new sheets of beautiful patterned cardstock along the way.)

Once I reached the aisle that was calling my name, a new tool caught my attention: the Corner Chomper by We R Memory Keepers. Yes, I had heard of it before that moment…but this was the first time I held it in my hand. It looked sturdy…and was just about the same price as a normal punch! (Plus, you get two sizes in one tool! I would have paid double just for the combining of the two tools. One less gadget in my growing collection of scrapbook supplies…)

I purchased the cool contraption, and am in love. It claims to cut through paper, cardstock, chipboard leather, plastic, acrylic/poly and more, which made me even more excited to try it! I started off rounding some cardstock, then moved on to the big stuff. Chipboard? Worked like a dream! Plastic? Easy as the cardstock. My husband was surprised when he came home from his Saturday night meeting and found everything in our house that could fit into my cool new gadget now had rounded corners. What can I say? I’m addicted.

  2. LOL – - I have this too and find myself using it wayyyy too much. I can’t stop. I am rounding corners on everything and some of them just don’t lend themselves to the rounded corner and look funky now. Oh well – - I’m gonna keep it up until the novelty has worn off *wink*
