I received so many cute button cards for this last challenge, I could publish a whole magazine! Thanks so much for taking the time to make these cards, snap pictures of them and email them to me. You make my week!
The first batch of cards use buttons in a non-holiday way, although I guess you could consider this button heart card by Rachel Defnet to be Valentine-y. But love should be felt year-round, right?!
This acetate congratulatory card by Fiona Dickinson is super colorful and fun!
Next up, a pair of fabulous button-featuring cards by Kelley Eubanks. We wish you the best in your recovery process Kelley!
Grids of buttons never get old in my book. And the colors of this birthday card by Vanessa Guirdanella remind me of winter, so switch out the sentiment and you’ve got a holiday card!
Amy Tsuruta added some lively detail to her tree embellishment with threaded buttons.
I’m sure anyone would love to get this “Hello Friend” card by Regan D’Agostino in the mail. The colors are so warm and bright.
Another lovey dovey card, suitable for all days of the year! That crackle paint and cluster of buttons make this card by Mariana Grigsby a hit.
A simple kraft base, a few lines of stitching, a smattering of buttons and hand cut leaves makes this thank you card by Maile Belles beautiful and wonderful.
Another great take on a thank you card is brought to us by Kiara Lee. It’s pretty, dainty and feminine with scallops, a stamped butterfly and soft colors.
And here’s one final non-holiday button card by Lucy Abrams. The button-tipped foliage stamp sure is detailed and ornate.
Now for the holiday themed button cards! First up, a slew of button tree cards. This perky and fun card is by Avril Tanner. I love the substitution of the traditional red and green for modern pink and teal.
Check out this button tree card by Gundrun Loennecken, complete with charms and a star topper!
Another non-traditional color palette, this button tree card by Kelly VanDerMolen warms by heart.
Hey Dawn Woleslagle – how did you make this awesome ribbon wreath? Please do share, I need to know! This card is so cute, fun, dimensional… sigh. So much talent!
Notice all the different ways Jenyfur Pohl stitched her buttons onto her festive card. What a fun variety!
All you need is a square punch and you could be making multiples of this fabulous holiday card by Laura.
Maile Belles turned buttons into ornaments by stitching them across the front of her card then “dangling” them from bow-tied string. This is so cute, I think I’m going to have to scraplift it. Tonight.
Here’s a bright and merry card by Lynnette Kauffman, with an added pop of blue to complete the look.
Wow. How stinkin’ cute is this snow globe card by Rosemarie Diehl? I’m speechless, it’s that cute. I’d like a dozen please!
Savannah O’Gwynn stamped Christmas trees on paper, cut them out, then she decorated one with buttons, string and glitter. It looks great!
I for one can’t get enough of the buttons as ornaments look. Especially polka-dot buttons! This card by Piali Biswas is guaranteed to make the recipient smile.
I love how Sherrie Siemens used a mixture of white and clear buttons to make a hill of snow on this ultra-cute winter card.
And finally, a fantastic green button wreath paired with a sweet red ribbon bow card by Deanna Woodland. Simple. Lovely. Perfect.

Buttons ….here ………there ……everywhere!!! Love buttons!!! Can’t remember when buttons didn’t find their way into my projects!!! My great grandmother had a gallon jar she let me play with. All these beauiful cards brought back such wonderful memories.
