Halloween is one week from tomorrow! Are your costumes all finished? I’m trying to convince my husband to let me wear a mask so no one can tell how old I am so I can go trick-or-treating. I miss it so! But anyways, I present a great Halloween card by Kelly VanDerMolen:

Last but certainly not least, here is a cute Welcome Home card by Kim Jackson. See that “peach” made out of a stamp and button? So creative! And that bunched ribbon? So fun!

How ’bout a new challenge? This week, I wanna see STITCHING! Isn’t stitching the best? It’s such a fun and easy finishing touch to most cards. Plus thread comes in every color under the sun so it can match your cards perfectly. Here is a little inspiration by Kandi Phillips to get your creative thoughts flowing. Please send your submissions to paiget@scrapbooktrendsmag.com by next Friday morning.

What color scheme is your favorite or inspires you most?
All I have to do is look on J.Crew and their hip and trendy clothing colors inspire me the most.

What is the last book you read?
I just finished reading the entire Harry Potter series. Soooo good.

You are suddenly transported into a different period in history.  Where would you choose to go?
15th century Florence because that was the height of the Renaissance - think Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael, etc.

Do you have a blog?
Of course! It's chrisandpaige.blogspot.com. Thanks for stopping by!
