Challenge Gallery and New Challenge!

Happy Friday (night)! How are ya’ll doin’? I’m a little tired today cuz I stayed up ’til 3am watching New Moon; totally worth the grogginess though :0) So let’s get right to it shall we? The challenge for this week was to use big ribbon! I love ribbon because it comes in so many colors, sizes, types…yum. Thanks again for playing along, you make my week.

First up, a lovely card by Regan D’Agostino. Simple. Sweet. Love the hat pin in the ribbon knot.

What’s an easy way to attach embellishments to ribbon? Safety pins! Just look through some drawers, I’m sure you’ve got a stash just waiting to be used on your next card project. Thanks for the great idea Brenda Weaver!

I just can’t get enough big ol’ ribbon bows.

Moving on to this week’s challenge: I have another embellishment obsession…BUTTONS. I want to see cards with at least 5 buttons on them. The more the merrier! Please email your cards to me at paiget@scrapbooktrendsmag.com by next Friday then I’ll post my top faves and issue a new challenge. Have a great week, have a happy Thanksgiving, and happy shopping on Black Friday!

What color scheme is your favorite or inspires you most?
All I have to do is look on J.Crew and their hip and trendy clothing colors inspire me the most.

What is the last book you read?
I just finished reading the entire Harry Potter series. Soooo good.

You are suddenly transported into a different period in history.  Where would you choose to go?
15th century Florence because that was the height of the Renaissance - think Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael, etc.

Do you have a blog?
Of course! It's chrisandpaige.blogspot.com. Thanks for stopping by!
