What is your jewelry style? Eclectic. I like mix-and-match elements and an asymmetrical look. I wear lots of neutral-colored clothes so I make jewelry with bright, stand-out colors.

If we looked into your craft closet, what would we see? An avalanche of photography, sewing, beading, card-making and quilting supplies would spill out and bury you alive. I'd take some emergency supplies if I were you.

If you were a mad scientist, what would you invent? Negative-calorie Molten Chocolate Cake.

Describe your jewelry style? I love earth tones and anything made with raw natural elements! I love brown, black, copper, bronze, and deep rich colors. I am a sucker for anything sentimental and love vintage jewelry and designs made from the unexpected.

What is your must-see TV show? My husband and I have a standing date to watch Chuck, probably because he’s a computer nerd; it makes me laugh and has good clean humor! I sure hope it gets renewed next season!!!!

Bigfoot, the Tooth Fairy and the Loch Ness Monster have all issued you a dinner invitation. Whose invite do you accept and what potluck dish do you bring? I’d have to go with the Loch Ness Monster and I would definitely bring the Deluxe Sushi/Sashimi Combo from The Happy Sumo! (Nessie must love seafood!) Yummmmm sushi is calling me now!!!!!

August Editor’s Pick by Sofie Sjöstrand

This is eye candy at it’s very best! I absolutely love wire-wrapped jewelry! These custom works of art can take hours or even days to complete. This beautifully handcrafted heirloom quality design titled “Release Me-Part Two” was created by Sofie Sjöstrand, an extremely talented 19 year old artist and designer from Sweden. I love how she wire-wrapped beautiful London blue topaz, apatite, and prasiolite gemstones to a silver chain and then encased them in a beautifully custom designed wire-wrapped pendant! If you love this  piece you can find more eye candy and beautifully designed pieces for sale in her retail store at www.sofiesc.etsy.com. If you want to try designing on your own she has beautiful gemstones for sale at www.sofiesgems.etsy.com.Picture 18

Describe your jewelry style: Minimalist and Mixed media. I like my jewelry to be classy enough to wear to church, but with a little indie flair.

What is your 'must-see' TV show? Pushing Daisies, Better Off Ted, Chuck, and 30 rock.

What is the strangest skill that you possess? I can fit several quarters in my belly button like a vending machine. Sadly, no candy comes out.
